Transit Leaders and Innovators Gather for the 2025 MTA Transit Museum Gala to Celebrate New York’s Transportation Legacy and Future with Dnutch Associates in attendance

New York, NY — The MTA Transit Museum hosted its 2025 Gala, convening transit leaders, city officials, business executives, and community partners for an evening celebrating the legacy and future of public transportation in New York. The event advanced the Museum’s mission to preserve transit history, expand K–12 education programs, and inspire innovation for a more equitable, resilient, and sustainable mobility network.

This year’s gathering welcomed notable guests from across the public and private sectors, including Denise A. Jones, President of Dnutch Associates, Inc., based in Methuen, Massachusetts. Jones joined fellow engineering and systems-integration leaders, technology innovators, and policy stakeholders to support the critical role transit plays for millions of riders each day.

“New York’s transit system is an engine for opportunity—and the Museum’s work keeps that story alive while inspiring the next generation of riders, builders, and problem-solvers,” said Janno Lieber, MTA Chair & CEO. “Tonight underscores the power of partnership and the creativity it takes to deliver safe, reliable, and sustainable service for New Yorkers.”

“The Transit Museum connects past to future—through artifacts, education, and authentic stories that make transit real for students, families, and visitors,” said Concetta Bencivenga, Director, MTA Transit Museum. “Support from our community allows us to preserve history while expanding programs that spark curiosity and civic pride.”

Representing the engineering and integration community, Denise A. Jones added: “Dnutch Associates is honored to stand with the MTA Transit Museum and its partners. Our work—like the Museum’s mission—is about systems that serve people. Investing in preservation and education strengthens the talent pipeline and advances innovations that will keep cities moving.”
